Sometimes we don’t feel like shining ourselves. Maybe we feel tired with life or full of self-doubt.
And it’s at times like this that perhaps we can stop and remember all those people that shine for us.
All the people that we have now and in the past, had a positive connection with.
Whose lives have touched ours, even if in passing and brought their energy and light to inspire us in all that we do.
Often, we may be unaware of these exchanges, a smile, a kind gesture, a word of encouragement and yet, sometimes they are relationships that reach an unexpected depth that allows us to grow and develop.
To know that together we are creating a starbright web of connection and light that defies the doubt in our minds and the darkness in the world and that this can become our joint purpose and reason for co-existing at a time of great uncertainty.
If every single person who has liked
you in your lifetime were to light up
on a map, it would create the most
glitteringly beautiful network you
could imagine. Throw in the strangers
you’ve been kind to, the people you’ve
made laugh or inspired along the way
and that starbright web of you would
be an impressive sight to behold. You’re
so much more than you think you are.
You have done so much more than you
realise. You’re trailing a bright pathway
that you don’t even know about. What
a thing. What a thing indeed.
