If ever you have an accident, whoever comes to your rescue wants to immediately check 2 things:
1) Are you conscious – they may shout “Can you hear me Jane?” (well obviously they would shout your name and not mine!)
and
2) Are you breathing?
If we have not been knocked unconscious, we may assume that we are fully conscious and full of life. But is this true?
Apart from being knocked out cold or being awake, might there be levels of consciousness or awareness that can impact our ability to interact with one another and with the world around us?
To be fully conscious is to be aware of and awake to the reality of the world around us and our own circumstances as well as the impact that we have on others and they have on us. And to consider this in the choices we make.
The Latin word SPIRE translates to the breath and is the root of many of the actions that we take.
To reSPIRE is to breathe over and over again
To aSPIRE is to breathe life into a vision or goal
To inSPIRE is to breathe good energy into another
To conSPIRE is to breathe together for strategic purpose
Whilst our breathing may be automatic and subconscious it can also be undertaken as a conscious act to bring life and good energy to our goals, vision and actions and to those around us.
According to Dr David Hawkins, the energy that radiates from us may be grounded in negative feelings such as shame, guilt, apathy or fear or in positive feelings such as love, joy and peace.
When our energy flows positively with love, peace and joy we can both ground ourselves in reality and co-create to transform and expand our vision out into the world.
The goal then is to be fully awake to the reality facing us and yet to make conscious choices and adopt positive attitudes to shift from lower energy states to higher ones.
To focus your mind on the thoughts and beliefs and aspirations that will expand your possibilities and to uplift others and ultimately the world through your conscious efforts.
To ASPIRE, INSPIRE and CONSPIRE to breathe new life into a world that is dying to change.
The world as we have created it is a process of thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.

Our aspirations are our possibilities
